Rich light oil BUTTER supple leather with a wonderful feel to them, these will melt in your hands and the more they are used the softer they will get! Fine hand rubbed finished edges, these reins just scream quality. These are SPECTACULAR! These reins are COVERED with 12 sterling silver ferrules on each rein along with finely braided light chocolate and cream rawhide accents giving these reins tons of eye appeal, they are truly exquisite and love the color combination. Feel free to contact me with any questions. This amp has never let me down and am reluctant to sell it but I want to buy some other gear. Deep mod has never been applied though I did toy with the idea when I was gigging regularly.

I have owned it for about 10 years and purchased it used. Other than retubing and the fan change no other work has been performed on the unit since I have owned it. The only time the tubes ever got hot enough to affect tone is when I used it for recording and ran the amp for about 10 straight hours in an amp booth in a studio and the engineer asked me to turn the clip on fan off. I always ran a clip on fan on the back of my rack to extend the tube life and preserve tone on longer gigs. This amp has always run hot in the rack and it is my understanding that is the nature of these amps.

I replaced the fan in the unit about 7 years ago to quiet it down. Most of my tone was, however, modern high gain and I found this amp to have more than enough headroom. I also liked the fact that although I did not have as much head room as larger amps, if I wanted a pushed power tube tone it was much easier to achieve with out need of a power. I never had an issue keeping up with him for stage volume. The last gigging band I played in the other guitarist had a Simul-class 2:90. Mesa Boogie is known to vastly underrate their watts.

The 12AX7s are Electro-Harmonix and have plenty of life left in them. I recently retubed with a matched quad of JJ Electronics tubes. The EL-84 power tubes have around 10 hours on them so they have plenty of life left. I tried to capture the rack rash in the pictures as best I can. It has been gigged and has the very mild rack rash. Used Mesa Boogie 20/20 Power Amp This power amp is in good used condition.
